Engaged

One year ago this week Tukker and I got engaged!

Tukker took me to Twin Lakes where we had very first met and out on the dock asked me to marry him!  Of course I said yes!
Two days or so later I bought my wedding dress! It was the first one I tried on and I did not want to take it off! I loved it!
That next weekend we went to Massachusetts with Erica and Bryce. We went to Cape Cod my first trip to the ocean! It was such an amazing week!

Living at the Palmers

Tukker and I are renting/taking care of Brother and Sister Palmer's house while they are on their mission in Africa. It has been really fun and we enjoy being close to family and friends. They have a really nice house.

The back yard.
Our room is upstairs.

The entryway.

My office.
The living room.

Kitchen and Dinning room.

Over to the pantry.

And the cool sheltered patio.

The huge garden that has apple, peach, pear, apricot, and plum trees.  Grape vines and raspberry and blackberry bushes.   This year I  did my first canning, with the help of my awesome mom. I made apricot, and blackberry peach jam,  grape juice and apple sauce. I was busy and missed canning peaches though it was sad.

Then the mountain view. Beautiful

Summer 2013

I have been so terrible at keeping up with my blog this summer! It has gone by so fast with lots going on. So this is me trying to catch up! sorry!

We traded in my little Hyundia Accent in for....

This! Ford Powerstroke! We love this truck. Its got a lot of sweet power you can only get by having a Ford!

Tukker ended up having surgery on his broken collar bone. It was scary, well for me at least, I was super worried about him, but we are so glad he had it done. His recovery time from the surgery was way faster than letting that nasty break heal itself. So here is the x-ray of his new bone... six inch metal plate with six screws!

And the scar to prove it! We were very blessed that it was not worse.
Tukker and I were very excited to take Buck on his field trip to the Beckstead farm. Cohen and Hunter were able to come too! It turned out really good and we all had so much fun! The boys loved feeding the baby calves. We also took them fishing at the Beckstead pond and they were crazy with excitement! Tuk and I loved having them with us for the day.
We also got to spend some time with our good friends Smitty and his girlfriend Katherine. They are such a fun couple.
Earlier this summer we were able to go carp hunting. It was awesome! Tuk is hunting with a spear Dad made him since he was still in a sling from surgery.  How awesome is that!

Taking home the catch for the day. We went a few times and one of the times I used the spear and successfully speared one! It was sweet!

I love this picture. Tylor was chasing after the carp saying "fishie fishie" haha he is so funny!

So this isn't from this summer but I wanted to put one in of me and Buck because I have had the best time helping him in home school and getting to know him. He is such a sweetheart and is so smart! We have tons of fun together and sure love him!

I can't believe I haven't taken more pictures than this! But so far this has been an awesome summer! Tukker and I are living in Clifton. (i will do pictures of the house later promise!) and we really enjoy it there. We have been married for 8 months now and love every minute of it! I am truly blessed with an amazing, loving, hardworking, husband! We also were able to go to Megan's wedding which was fun. Living close to my family has been so much fun! We go on four wheeler rides and have cookouts and have tons of fun together!

Tukker's Crash

We were riding at American Falls when Tukker crashed his dirt bike and fractured his collar bone. It was really scary and so sad to see. We took him to the Pocatello hospital where they took x-rays and told him to wear an arm sling for the next 6 weeks.

He bruised up pretty bad and Tukker usually doesn't bruise.  You can also see where his bone is poking up. We have a doctors appointment next week to make sure that is okay and that they are growing back together okay.

Tukker didn't even miss any work, that was not an option for him, he is a good hard worker and it would drive him crazy not to be able to go while he is healing. They are very good to him and have been finding jobs for him to do one handed. I have been taking care of him and helping him where I can. He has been the best patient though. He never complains, He is still happy, and tries hard to help me help him. He is the best husband I could ever ask for and I am so blessed to have him in my life. We are very thankful that his crash was not worse.

Weekend in Huntington

Tukker and I were able to go to Huntington with Mom and Dad for the weekend. We stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Fox's house. It was good to see them again and see where Mom and Dad grew up. Aimee, Ty, Matt and Alice and their kids came too. It was great!

Grandpa Fox hanging out with us on the lawn.

Grandma Fox
Dad took us around and gave us the grand tour of Huntington
The house where Dad grew up.

Dad planted these trees when they were about 2 feet tall. It was neat to see how huge they got.
The awesome lake Dad and his brothers went to. It was so pretty and looked like tons of fun!

Little Tylor throwing rocks into the water.

Dad showing the boys how to skip giant rocks.

Tukker and I enjoying the tour.
Hunter proud of the huge rock he found to throw in.
Brianna with her broken leg. Good thing shes got an awesome Grandpa to help!

The mill where Dad worked during high school.
And the shop he owned. He said when he owned it, it was white with red trim and had a "T.J.s Pit Stop" sign on it!

The hills where Dad would go riding. Looks so fun!

Tukker and I got to use our new tent. We were so excited!
The boys helped too.
Its a little big for the two of us right now but we like to plan ahead haha
We also got a new air mattress and sleeping bags!

Cohen got to shoot his bb gun. He was excited and was getting really good at it. He shot the pyramid of cups down a couple of  times too.
The target, the temptation.

And Hunter with his bow and arrows. He was getting really good too.

Tylor loves playing with Papa and Daddy. The smile on his face was adorable!
